The Arv 116 VJJ UL is a women's freestyle ski from Armada, part of the ARW Series range for all-mountain and freestyle skiers who have fun in the snowpark and in the backcountry.
The Arw 116 VJJ UL are very wide skis (116 mm at the waist) which offers an incredible lift. It literally floats on the snow to offer you an outstanding backcountry freestyle experience. Ultra-light, they are 25% lighter than the original Arw 116 VJJ! Its carob wood core, lightened tip and heel make it possible to obtain this featherlight weight.
Lively and dynamic, the Arw 116 VJJ UL will glide on all types of snow, even powder. It features Smear Tech technology, a bevelled tip and tail that prevent snagging in deep snow that also enables you to send it in the air when doing freestyle. What's more, a directional fibreglass layer makes the ski very dynamic, responsive and offers all the pop you need to have fun in the park! Naturally, this model is equipped with a double rocker, so that you can gain speed with confidence in unpredictable snow conditions and make the whole mountain your playground!
Thus, the Arw 116 VJJ UL is the weapon of choice experienced freestylers looking for playful, manageable skis with unique flotation!

CARUBA CORE:
Carob wood is the lightest wood used by Armada. It allows for effortless climbs, but remains powerful enough to go down slopes at full speed, whatever the type of terrain. This core makes no compromises between performance and lightness.
SMEAR TECH:
The tip and heel are bevelled, creating a unique gliding sensation in all conditions. This technology allows the ski to avoid unnecessary snagging, to split any type of snow and to fly away with each jump. A smooth and effortless glide.
CAUTION if you choose to mount, there are two options for mounting the fasteners:
- "Freestyle Recommended" point marked at -2.5cm from the actual centre. A mounting that provides the stability needed to effectively pull off your favourite tricks.
- "Factory Recommended" point marked at -5cm from the centre of the ski. The ideal set-up for a versatile use between carving on the piste and off-piste.
When you enter the information in the assembly form (when validating the model of fasteners), we will let you specify the option you want in the "Additional information" section. Otherwise the workshop technicians will automatically follow the "Factory Recommended" point
L'Arv 116 VJJ UL est un ski d'exception ! Tout droit sorti de l'incubateur concevant les skis pour les athlètes professionnels de la marque, il est incisif sur neige dure, avec des lignes de côte généreuses et bon rocker qui le font pivoter facilement. Très léger pour son gabarit, il est tolérant, agréable à skier et vous permettra de flotter sur tout type de neige !
