L'Agent 3 2025 is a unisex ski touring and freeride ski from East. Faction.
The Agent 3 is the widest ski and is ideal for skiing in deep snow, but still lightweight for easy climbing. Ultra versatile, it will perform as well in powder snow as in transformed spring snow.
For starters, the Agent 3 has a fairly reasonable weight of 1730 g per ski (178 cm). Thanks to its ultra-light Karuba core it is just as efficient on the ascent as it is on the descent. This Core provides good flex and absorbs vibrations without adding weight. Its lightweight construction, thanks to unidirectionally oriented carbon strips, gives it even greater stability, strength and rigidity in all conditions!
Its sandwich construction produces better surface contact as well as remarkable adjustments to suit the terrain.
L'Agent 3, avec Its rocker provides better lift and makes it easier to pivot the ski, while its tips move the widest part of the ski towards the centre for perfect glide, with no risk of unintentional edge grip.
With its 106 mm waist, it is a large ski ideally suited to powder. Thanks to its standard camber and its tip and heel rockers, the Agent 3 is very efficient in all snow conditions. It will be the perfect companion for you to conquer your favourite untouched spots!

At Faction, there are three possible binding arrangements, from the most advanced to the furthest back: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, assemblies will be carried out in accordance with the brand's recommendations, i.e. Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine ; Newschool on Studio.
| Karuba core: | karuba is an extremely light but strong wood. This fuel provides good flex and absorbs vibrations without weighing the ski down, making it ideal for a ski touring core that will perform equally well on both ascents and descents. |
| XL 2.5 mm Edges | The 2.5mm Edges are 35% thicker than regular 1.8mm Edges, which are already very tough. The addition of Steel gives riders a ski that can withstand the 'aggression' of certain practical activities for longer. |
| Elliptical radius sidecuts | The sidecuts with elliptic radii consist of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius on the front and rear parts of the ski. The long radius under the foot makes pivoting quicker and easier, while the shorter radii give a smoother start to curves. These sidecuts are perfectly suited to a wide range of turn angles and sizes. |
| Ultra-high-strength edge sandwich construction | This construction is based around reinforcements along the edges of the side wall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges offer the best possible stability and Grip when the ski is negotiating a turn, while protecting the Wood core, edges and topsheet from possible impact and outer damage. |
| Micro-Cap anti-shatter | The micro cap is a Hybrid construction that combines premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with lightweight, durable cap construcion. Thanks to micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise flake off in the event of impact. |
| Moustache flex | Stability at the front and back of the binding zone ensures good edge hold. The soft, progressive flex in the heel and tip easily absorbs any bumps. This flex makes it easier to start and finish turns. |
| Flat Tail Freeride | This type of traditional flat tail is designed to offer maximum speed, edge control and stability when turning at full throttle. The light rocker adds a touch of modernity, and this shape will allow you to execute your turns even more easily and will avoid any snagging in fresh snow. |
L'Agent 3 est un excellent ski de randonnée, destiné aux skieurs qui veulent un peu tout faire ! Polyvalent avec ses 106 mm au patin, il est à l'aise en poudreuse. On aime son côté léger et du coup bien maniable à la montée.
La présence de ses deux rockers permet de bien flotter en neige fraiche et la présence de carbone est une garantie de stabilité et de robustesse !
