The Obex backcountry SPIN helmet by POC has been specifically designed to improve the safety of off-piste skiiers. It is essential that a skier is found quickly if an incident occurs. Thanks to the NFC medical chip, the rescue team has direct access to medical information if the victim is unconscious. In addition, the system RECCO is present on the helmet, to complete safety by helping rescuers find avalanche victims.
The tough ABS design provides optimal impact protection. The helmet also has a SPIN technology, a silicone protection system which uses innovative materials to deliver a whole-helmet approach.
The size adjustment system means a perfect fit and keeps the helmet in place for an all day comfort. Finally, the adjustable air vents are strategically placed at the front and on top of the helmet, so that you can adjust the ventilation system according to the weather.
