The Kore 117 is a men's freeride ski from Head. The widest ski in the Kore range, its 117mm waist is clearly intended for riding in deep snow on big fresh powder days.
The Kore range uses the most advanced technologies and materials on the market. The innovative construction that makes it so special continues to be a big hit: it combines carbon, Graphene and a Karuba wood core. As a result, these skis are robust, flexible and have plenty of pop!
The Kore 117 is robust and light but also stable and agile, it is an outstanding ski. It combines lightness, float and control. The triaxial weave of its carbon fibre layer increases torsion resistance for unrivalled responsiveness and great edge hold.
The double rocker is lightened thanks to the Graphène, meaning the weight is redistributed across the whole ski, which improves float in powder and handling in changeable snow. Its rocker Tip-Tail with a shorter edge length also contributes to its great handling. Its lightweight Karuba wood core gives this ski all the elasticity and sturdiness it needs.
The Kore 117 is perfect for advanced freeriders looking for a lightweight, high performance ski for those dream days spent riding in the powder!

Curve radius: 24.6m for the 184cm model
Weight without bindings: 3830 g
Shape:
- Tip&Tail Rocker
Construction:
- Multilayer carbon sandwich cap construction : Topless tech construction, triaxial weave of a carbon layer combined with graphene and an additional carbon layer to make the KORE the lightest skis in their class.
- Lightweight KARUBA wood: karuba wood core gives the ski pop and personality. This wood has the perfect density to weight ratio. The combination of Karuba, Poplar and graphene lighten and balance the ski.
Technology:
- GRAPHENE: Graphene is the lightest and toughest material known to date. Head has incorporated it into the KORE 's tip and tail to make it lighter and more responsive in deep snow.
- Topless technology: The construction is covered with a polyester topsheet instead of a standard topsheet. This Topless construction produces the lightest ski in its category.
- Structured UHM C Base: the same material that is used in the excellent racing skis from HEAD. Differently structured base for all conditions.
