From the Future Shapesfamily of boards with innovative shapes and unique riding sensations, the Killswitch fills the gap for big mountain boards! Sized to go hard, the Killswitch is precise and robust. Slightly narrower than its sisters, the board has excellent buoyancy and is much more stable at high speeds. Moreover, although it has a swallow tail, the Killswitch is rideable in switch!
In order to remain poppy and responsive, Amplid has equipped the Spray Tray with the Carbon Pop Band, which is a carbon band integrated into the core and runs across the board from nose to tail. The Killswitch features a lightweight, durable and versatile core Omni Corecore and the HEXO2 Litetechnology, which is the insertion of recycled paper in the shape of a honeycomb in the nose, to make it considerably lighter. This season, Amplid has enhanced its boards Future Shapes technology Thick Cuttechnology, thickened tips to reduce vibration without making the board heavier.
The Killswitch is the ideal board for high speed freeride and piste sessions!

Camber :
Cruise Camber (Camber + rocker): the standard camber under the supports complemented by the rocker in the nose makes the board even more lively in powder and gives it the ability to go everywhere.
Shape:
Tapered Directional classic shape with a nose twice as long as the tail for lift in ungroomed snow. A tapered shape is one in which the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit corners, stable at high speeds and more buoyant.
Floatation Tips the square nose increases the board's buoyancy in powder snow.
Jekyll & Hyde Geometry a new feature: maximum contact between the footprint and the snow to develop as much lift as possible.
Core:
Omni Core a wood core with proven strength, the result of years of research by Amplid. Versatile and robust core.
Carbon Pop Bandcarbon strips running the length of the board through each insert area. Amplifies pop and retains the board's natural flex.
Hexo2 Lite the spatulas have honeycombed sections for effective weight reduction!
Pre-cured Impact Plates reinforcement of the core at the fastener inserts to limit impact caused by the fasteners.
Topsheet:
Biax Glass double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a responsive, forgiving board.
Thick Cut : The front and rear tips are thicker than the rest of the board. This reduces vibrations and increases stability.
Sole :
Sintered 7 base ultra-high density sintered sole, very hard and resistant.
Avec la Killswitch, Amplid a voulu rajouter une dose de big-mountain dans son quiver. Modèle haut de gamme, la Killswitch dispose d'une stabilité hors pair qui met très rapidement en confiance même dans les grands tout droit. Une fois les premières pistes traversées, on la met sur le sac et on s'attaque à un domaine plus vierge. Là aussi, aucun souci. le board flotte bien et gomme bien les aspérités du terrain.
Bien que polyvalente, c'est plutôt dans les grandes courbes que vous saurez retrouver le plein potentiel de cette planche.
