Karibou 14 Vert

The Karibou Vert is a ski touring binding from the brand Plum designed to push the limits of performance.

Its new patented system with total elasticity of 12 mm, common to the entire range Karibou (Karibou 14, Karibou 7 stopper and Karibou 14 stopper), revolutionises ski touring.

This major innovation consists of an unprecedented distribution of elasticity: 4 mm at the heel, as with conventional bindings, and an additional 8 mm integrated into the front stop. This configuration offers a number of advantages. In fact, it considerably improves the progressiveness of the ski's flexion during heavy compression, such as during hard turns or jumps, which is particularly appreciated in freeride and freerando. What's more, it reduces the risk of the front stop being torn off in the event of strong impacts, guaranteeing greater safety, which is essential on expeditions and steep slopes. Finally, this optimised elasticity system improves the release of the binding during heavy compression.

As a result, the Karibou offers a perfect balance between weight, performance and safety, whether on the piste, off-piste or on major expeditions.
