The IProbe BT+ 260 brand Pieps is an avalanche probe that transforms a mechanical operation into a quick, assisted electronic procedure.

Operating at a reception frequency of 457 kHz, this electronic Probe provides immediate acoustic and Eyewear detection , signalled by a beep as soon as the operator approaches the victim. The System provides a precise indication of the strike distance, displaying a maximum Scope of 50 cm down to 0 cm, considerably reducing the time between locating by avalanche transceiver and the start of shovelling. This Probe is 300 cmlong and has a total Scope of around 350 cm . For complex multiple rescue situations, the technology iPROBE is compatible with the automatic standby mode of East avalanche transceivers Pieps and can be set via the Application.

This Probe has 7 robust 12.5 mm diameter strands . It deploys quickly thanks to a quick and easy tensioningmechanism, secured by a quick-release clasp that instantly locks the probe in position. Despite the electronics on board, it weighs just 460 grams (including batteries), a major advantage for ski touring and mountaineering enthusiasts. It has a battery life of 100 hours and can be used between -20°C and 45°C. Integrated technology Bluetooth technology for wireless management and firmware updates via the Application PIEPSGuarantee that the tool is always up to date. A scale graduated in centimetres completes the equipment for surgically precise clearance.
