Nitro has cooked up something really big by building the Highlander. The Carbon infused sole is the top of the range sole in the world of Snowboards. This inevitably results in a very high-quality board.
The use of the Koroyd Core has made it possible to lighten the Highlander while maintaining an excellent level of rigidity. Extraordinary manoeuvrability awaits you with this board! What's more, with Antiphase™technology, this material considerably reduces vibrations and improves the board's stability.
Precise and responsive, the Highlander has a Trüe Camber (classic camber) and a core reinforced by a layer of carbon. This makes for a fairly rigid board ( 8/10flex) that's just as good in freeride as it is in powder and transformed snow, thanks to its high levels of buoyancy and a decisive bite.
The directional shape and -15 mmsetback ensure excellent cornering. The long curve radius of the nose means you can carve at full speed with optimum support from the camber and unrivalled grip on the edges.
Finally, although rigid and dynamic, the Highlander offers a feel and sensation very close to the track. In fact, its slimmer profile Reflex Core Profile makes it easier to twist the centre of the board and gives you a sensational feel for the snow.

The amount of pop and support you get from a cambered board is unmatched by any other camber design. Cette planche est rapide sur piste mais également précise. Grâce à sa légèreté, son flex et son True Camber, elle obéit aux doigts et à l'œil. La Highlander attaque très fort dans les virages et à beaucoup de répondant en sortie de courbe, cela peut surprendre aux premières descentes mais une fois la bête maîtrisée, c'est le bonheur pour les amoureux de sensations fortes.
Le confort de ride est absolu. Elle est à la fois douce et nerveuse, flex et rigide, réactive et confortable. Tout y est.
