The vest features a technical carbon fibre padding that stores and reflects the body's natural heat, thus maximising thermal input without weighing down the garment. The included heating pads fit directly inside on dedicated Velcro areas, targeting the lower back as well as the sides at kidney level. The system is compatible with all Body Heat System batteries from Lenz, which attach to the pads via strategically placed press studs to preserve comfort and avoid hindering movement.

Functionally, the vest is equipped with a large zip opening and a high collar to protect the neck from drafts. For storage, it features two hand pockets, a zipped chest pocket, and a small attachment loop for lightweight items located on the chest.
