For ascents, the Hawx Ultra Xtd 130 Ct Gw features precision tech inserts and a GripWalk outsole, as well as Igus polymer rings that ensure 100% natural movement for effortless climbing. It uses the Free/Lock 2.0 of the Backland hiking boot, giving it a range of motion of 54° on the ascent, and an ultra-secure and fast locking on the descent.
