LYOCELL-TENCEL®

Lyocell is a hybrid fibre manufacturing process that is much more environmentally friendly than those used for modal or Viscose, in which almost all the chemicals used are recycled. "Lyocell" is the generic name for the manufacturing process and the fibre. Tencel® is the brand name of Lyocell marketed by the company Lenzing AG. The Tencel® is manufactured from eucalyptus sourced from PEFC-certified forests, as these trees grow quickly without requiring pesticides, fertilisers or irrigation.
