The Griffon 13 Black/Tan is a freeride/freestyle ski binding from Marker, designed for advanced to expert level skiers.
Because at Marker no one is left out, lighter riders can also equip themselves with a high-end binding. The little sister of the Jester 16, it features the same design and remarkable construction.
Intended for advanced to expert skiers, it is very robust and stiff thanks to the tear-resistant screws. The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it excellent behaviour for freestyle use. Combined with a short and compact design, this binding performs very well during spins.
The Triple Pivot Elite 3 is a front jaw concept that guarantees exceptional retention force in the event of a big impact (as in freeride/freestyle). This helps reduce the risk of premature release. The inter-pivot 3 is the heel piece of the Pivot 3 system, offering a longer elastic travel, absorbing terrain irregularities, and improving power transmission. With the front jaw and the heel piece, you have here a high-end and secure binding.
As with all bindings from the brand, the AFD (Anti Friction Device) technology is also present, ensuring reliable and precise release. Moreover, the front and rear jaws provide very good energy absorption to avoid premature release and promote ideal power transmission. With the Anti Ice Rail, you can easily clear snow and ice, for a higher level of safety.
With the new GripWalk® standard, you will have an excellent connection between your boot and the binding for even more security.
The Griffon 13 remains a beast in terms of quality, performance, style, and safety.

| AFD | All Marker bindings are equipped with an AFD (anti friction device) and guarantee the highest precision release, hardly affected by dirt, snow or ice! Adjusting the AFD according to the area of use ensures perfect functionality, whether in competitions, activities for children or ski touring. |
| Triple Pivot Elite 3 | This front jaw concept, with DIN/ISO up to Z 18, guarantees exceptional retention force in freeride situations. The front jaw spring is positioned obliquely, and the 5° inclined sole support ensures top-level energy absorption to reduce the risk of premature release. A large contact surface optimises force transmission and allows the application of very high forces. Jaws featuring this technology achieve performance levels never before matched relative to their weight. |
| inter-pivot 3 | This heel piece offers a longer elastic travel, absorbs terrain irregularities and improves power transmission. Thus, this binding allows aggressive engagement without suffering unexpected releases. |
| Gripwalk | The boot-binding sole system that offers improved walking comfort and enhanced skiing performance. GripWalk features a new copolymer sole with a curved profile. The convex shape and ribbed rubber surface greatly improve walking comfort while ensuring much better grip. The integrated pads made of hard and rigid materials guarantee exceptional power transmission and precise binding release function. GripWalk soles are the perfect accessories, designed for a limited number of selected ski boots and bindings. |
| Rail anti glace | Use the metal accessory to scrape ice and snow off the ski boot sole. |
