The Grid Mips is a freeride ski helmet for men from Giro.
The Grid Mips is new and one of Giro's lightest helmets. The lightweight Mips® Spherical construction effectively protects your head from all impacts. What is very appreciated is its light weight, you will forget its presence to concentrate on your trajectory or your ascent.
Comfort is provided by the Polartec® lining and the In Form 2 adjustment system offers a customised fit in seconds. Very well ventilated, the Grid MIPS uses a manual ventilation system as well as the Stack Vent for perfect ventilation between the helmet and the mask to avoid fogging. The magnetic clamp is very practical and allows for one-handed use or use with gloves.

Technology:
-MIPS (Multi Directional Impact Protection System): a system that mimics the way the brain protects itself during an impact by absorbing the energy of the impact through the rotation of the helmet on the head.
-Spherical: Spherical Technology's Ball-and-Socket design, powered by Mip's, helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. It also eliminates contact with hard plastic or planes against the skin.
- Fit Form: It's the lighter, lower fitting system than the original, and easier to dial in with a custom fit in seconds, even with gloves on. An improved dial design offers up to 6 cm of adjustment and increased stability.
-Polartec Power Grid : Designed to be close to the skin, it offers exceptional comfort thanks to its bi-component knit construction which uses different yarns to create two different surfaces. It also dries faster and helps eliminate odours thanks to the silver salt in the fabric.
