The is Gea Indigo Black a women's freerando boot manufactured by the brand Scarpa.
The brand’s renowned model is back Scarpa this year, still boasting the same key features: incredible lightness, travel and skiability. The is Gea the little sister of the Gea RS. A boot designed for skiers at intermediate to advanced levels looking for a boot that offers a great feel both on the ascent and on the descent.
It Gea consists of a full polyurethane shell, making it lightweight and offering excellent ski performance. This shoe features a release system Speed Lock MLT that allows for a total travel of 61° , enabling a very smooth walking experience.
In terms of comfort and fit, the liner Intuition is of high quality thanks to the reinforced tongue, a carefully engineered rear flex and a smooth Lycra panel at the top of the back of the liner, designed to make fitting easier. What’s more, the rubber sole Vibram® offers excellent durability as well as good adhesion/grip when carrying your skis on your rucksack.
Equipped with this technology Recco®, the Gea could save your life if you are caught in an Avalanche.
