The Felix Step On® Soft from Burton are all mountain snowboard boots for for experienced riders. New for the 2022/2023 season, these boots take on the classic Felix Step On® design but with less rigidity. It is thus destined for female riders who prefer a softer ride.
As you may have guessed from their name, the Felix Step On® Soft are a version of the Felix Boa®, we've selected these all-mountain freeride boots for their characteristics and their top of the range performance. Comfort, support, reactivity... a solid foundation upon which Burton has created this trustworthy Felix Step On® Soft model.
The main difference between strapped and Step On® bindings is that it is the boot that dictates which binding/boot pack to get, and no longer the binding. The Step On® system enables you to put your bindings on whilst standing all you have to do is simply step into the connection points on the sides of the feet and behind the spoiler. No need to sit in the cold, wet snow to put on your bindings- and no one will complain about having to wait for you at the ski lifts!

Flex - 4/10, medium/soft flex
- PowerUp tongue with 1:1 medium flex: thermoplastic reinforced tongue for the best possible response.
- The Step On® back reinforcement features a connection point on the heel for a strap-free connection that offers unparalleled comfort and performance.
- The Snugger strap: allows the rider to adjust heel support and front flex stiffness.
Liner:
- Imprint 3™: - The Imprint 3 thermoforming liners feature a hook-and-loop fastening system, with an inner lace lock, for an optimal fit and lightweight reinforcement panels, for improved responsiveness. Thermoformable liner:
- DRYRIDE Heat Cycle™ : carbon fibre lining which is thermally activated to better capture body heat.
- Focus cuff: the Focus Cuff rides higher on your ankle to increase heel support for increased response.
- Plush Cuff 1.0 : exclusively available with women's boots, extra soft lining and neoprene stretch zones around the ankle.
Cushioning:
- Design True Fit women specific : designed specifically for the female body shape.
- ReBounce Cushioning: placed in the shell of the boot, close to your foot, and provides an extra layer of impact protection. The thermal insulation also traps heat. Retains its properties even in cold weather
Lacing:
- Dual-Zone BOA Coiler™ closure system: the boot consists of two distinct lacing zones which can be independently adjusted by turning the dial, this gives a customised fit in both the upper and lower sections of the boot. Laces made from natural fibres increase comfort and ensure more natural flex.
- Lacing technology: the dial-it-in system increases heel hold across three independent lacing zones with a single dial. Secure and consistent fit across the whole boot.
Comfort :
- Total Comfort Construction: Best possible feel from the very first use. The Total Comfort design leaves out the process of moulding the foot to the liner, favouring instead a liner that adapts to your body directly.
- Snow proof internal gusset: the lower zone of the boot is completely sealed off from the snow, keeping feet warm and dry all day.
- Isothermal Sleeping Bag technology: light, thin layer to insulate your foot.
Sole:
- Optimised EST® midsole: lowers your centre of gravity and improves snowboard feel without compromising comfort.
- Step On outsole: features cleats in the forefoot that securely lock into the binding.
