The Backseat Driver is a toy designed by Burton to give you the feeling of surfing in the powder. Its use is limited exclusively to off-piste and powder snow riding.
Wondering where the bindings are? There are no bindings.
This board has been developed for you to play in the garden or in powder fields. This board provides you with a feeling of freedom close to that of surfing.
Warning: this snowboard is not suitable for on-piste riding as a "normal" snowboard would be because it has no bindings.
Camber - Flat Top Directional : The directional Flat Top profile offers a flat nose rocker profile to ensure stability and a relaxed float, perfect for intense days on challenging terrain.
Shape - Directional (taper: 25mm): Its directional shape is designed with a nose that is slightly longer than tail in order to concentrate pop in the tail, while providing a lot of float, fluidity and control on all terrains and in all conditions.
Flex - Directional : The directional flex provides more dynamism on the tail and a more flexible nose which allow the rider to keep control on all terrains and in all conditions.
Core - Super Fly® 800G Core: The Super Fly 800G core is a highly dynamic dual wood core with alternating hard and soft woods, for reduced overall weight without limiting performance.
Fiberglass - Triax® : Triax fiberglass offers versatile flex and response for all types of riding, from smooth to intense.
Base - Extruded : The extruded base offers speed and durability and requires little maintenance.
Technology:
- Epoxy Super Sap® Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour.
