With an 18mm thick plate, the temperature of the iron is consistent and stable. This temperature is controlled by a microprocessor and is displayed on a digital indicator. The setting range allows the iron to be adjusted between 80°C and 170°C according to the waxing requirements. There is a slight angle at the back of the iron to allow optimum distribution of powdered wax. The front is straight for the more classic "bread" type waxes.
