The Dancer 2 2026 Blue is an all-mountain ski from East Faction designed for Experienced skiers.
The range Dancer range from Faction range includes high-performance skis with a virtually flat heel for all-mountain or freeride use, depending on the model. Descending steep couloirs at full speed, traversing chopped-up snow with no questions asked, or floating in powder snow will be a real pleasure with these skis on your feet.
Thanks to the use of two titaniumplates, the skis in the range Dancer range are ultra-stable at high speeds and will absorb vibrations caused by complicated snow conditions. With their poplarwooden core, the Core Dancer are extremely light and offer unparalleled Dynamism. Used on its own, poplar gives you pop, which means you get good edge Adhesion/Grip on the slopes.
Resolutely freeride in its design, the Dancer 2 has a long rocker in the tip and a light rocker in the tail for excellent lift-off in fresh snow and enhanced handling on the slopes, so you can switch from one edge to another in the blink of an eye. The sandwich construction gives ultra-solid edges, which provides the best grip and a lively behaviour in all situations.

At Faction, there are three possible binding arrangements, from the most advanced to the furthest back: Newschool / Progressive / Classic. By default, assemblies will be carried out in accordance with the brand's recommendations, i.e. Progressive on Dancer, Agent, Prodigy and La Machine ; Newschool on Studio.
| POPLAR CORE | Poplar is a soft, light-coloured, lightweight and strong wood that has good flex and pop, as well as a high capacity to absorb vibrations. When used alone, this wood provides pop, makes it easy to make butters and offers great stability when landing, three attributes necessary for a park ski, but also the torsional stability to ensure good grip on the pistes. |
| XL 2.5 MM EDGES | The 2.5mm Edges are 35% thicker than regular 1.8mm Edges, which are already very tough. The addition of Steel gives riders a ski that can withstand the 'aggression' of certain practical activities for longer. |
| ELLIPTICAL RADIUS SIDECUTS | The sidecuts with elliptic radii consist of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radius on the front and rear parts of the ski. The long radius under the foot makes pivoting quicker and easier, while the shorter radii give a smoother start to curves. These sidecuts are perfectly suited to a wide range of turn angles and sizes. |
| SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION WITH ULTRA-SOLID EDGES | This construction is based around reinforcements along the edges of the side wall, between the edge and the topsheet. The edges offer the best possible stability and Grip when the ski is negotiating a turn, while protecting the Wood core, edges and topsheet from possible impact and outer damage. |
| MICRO-CAP ANTI-SLIP | The micro cap is a Hybrid construction that combines premium edge-bonded sandwich construction with lightweight, durable cap construcion. Thanks to micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability, while the topsheet partially covers the edge, protecting the fragile edge that could otherwise flake off in the event of impact. |
| MOUSTACHE FLEX | Stability at the front and back of the binding zone ensures good edge hold. The soft, progressive flex in the heel and tip easily absorbs any bumps. This flex makes it easier to start and finish turns. |
| FLAT TAIL FREERIDE | This type of traditional flat tail is designed to offer maximum speed, edge control and stability when turning at full throttle. The light rocker adds a touch of modernity, and this shape will allow you to execute your turns even more easily and will avoid any snagging in fresh snow. |
Le Dancer 2 de chez Faction est un excellent ski polyvalent. Tous ceux qui l'ont testé sont unanimes, il est à l'aise sur tous les terrains et, plus important encore, il permet de charger autant qu'on le désire sans jamais perdre en stabilité.
Sur la piste il trace des courbes parfaites et tellement profondes qu'on se croirait dans des rails.
