The men's Custom Flying V from Burton is a freeride board for intermediate riders.
The Custom Flying V is similar to the classic Custom. The camber is where these two boards differ. With a Flying V™ camber, this Burton board is more accessible and of course more fun. There is even more pop and mastered control. This camber still offers power in turns and a little more float compared to the classic model.
Designed with a directional shape and twin flex. The Custom Flying V is made to ride all terrains in all conditions. Powerful, dynamic and balanced, this board has all the qualities of a versatile snowboard. Thanks to its shape and flex, this board provides on-piste continuous edge grip, good float in pow and dynamic pop.
The FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core is soft and light. Its firmness provides the necessary responsiveness for descents on groomed slopes and in the park. And the Sintered WFO base provides a fast glide and is durable so you don't lose the gliding quality over the seasons.
In short, the Custom Flying V is a board for on-piste riding, powder and the park. It is ultra versatile and will accompany you everywhere.

Flying V™ : The Flying V profile features rocker areas between and around the feet for more fun, and float and camber areas under your feet which increase edge control for clean pressure, more pop and powerful turns.
Shape:
Directional : Its directional shape is that of a classic snowboard; it is designed with a tip that is slightly longer than the tail to facilitate pop in the tail, all while providing a lot of float, fluidity and control across all terrains and in all conditions.
Materials/Technologies:
Core - FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox: the Super Fly II 700G core features lighter and stronger wood types to provide a high level of reactivity and strength, while reducing the overall weight. The Dualzone EGD engineered woodgrain is placed along the heel and toe edges on two continuous zones that are perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives a more coherent edge hold and reinforced reactivity.
Fiberglass 45° Carbon Highlights: The Carbon Highlights 45° fiberglass construction optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds an integral carbon coating to reduce weight and refine torsion feel.
Base - Sintered WFO : features a specially formulated wax that is infused deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density material, making it extremely durable for riding all season long in any conditions.
The Channel® : The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with major brands' bindings.
Frostbite Edges : edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better grip.
Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for a lighter weight and improved handling.
Infinite Ride™: this technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, bounce and behaviour throughout its lifespan.
Super Sap® Epoxy Super Sap® Epoxy: durable topsheet.
