Burton's Cartel X takes exactly the same characteristics of the Cartel mentioned below, but with a new composition that makes it more rigid and lighter, for even sharper changes of direction.
A benchmark, template and source of inspiration... the Burton Cartel are THE men's snowboard bindings, confirmed as the most reliable in the Burton all-mountain range. Like the Custom snowboard, the Cartel is synonymous with the international reputation of this American brand.
Many years of development have resulted in a binding capable of offering a combination of legendary performance and comfort. The Cartel's all-mountain design means it's a real all-terrain performer that remains responsive whatever the situation. The normal version of the Cartel gives you a medium 6/10 flex and slightly firmer cushioning than the EST version due to its differently constructed single-component baseplate.
The Zero Forward Lean spoiler adjustment of the spoiler means you can choose between a very wide angle for increased stability for freestyle, or a tighter angle to attack the powder. The ankle straps have evolved to feature the mesh-like Hammockstrap™ 2.0 design which moulds perfectly to the shape of your boots and reduces unpleasant pinch points. The reinforced strap and Smooth Glide™ buckles ensure a comfortable, fitted grip.
The Cartel is the binding of choice for advanced to expert riders who want a binding with no weak points and which can take on any feat. The Cartel is up for any adventure, whether it's off-piste trips or neck-breaking speed slopes!

Cushioning - 7/10: Firm cushioning. The AutoCANT FullBED™ Cushioning System with B3 Gel is composed of double density EVA foam that reduces fatigue no matter what your stance and adjustment angle, and also improves control of the board. The B3 gel used for the boot soles delivers the ultimate level of comfort and doesn't change properties even when it's cold.
Baseplate - Single-Component 45% Short-Glass/Nylon Composite Lightweight Re:Flex™ : embase mono-bloc construite à 45% de fibres de verres et le reste de nylon de différentes densités. The ideal build for getting a better transfer for the power and increased response.
Spoiler - Single-Component Canted Living Hinge™ Zero Forward Lean spoiler with DialFLAD™ : The Zero-Lean Canted spoiler is a spoiler that can be adjusted to 0°, in other words the spoiler is vertical for a more playful and relaxed stance. The DialFLAD™ system allows the spoiler to be adjusted depending on what you're using it for: a wide angle for good grip on ice or no angle at all for a relaxed jib! The lightweight 2-part spoiler perfectly moulds to the shape of the boot while the spring mechanism builds momentum. The Heel Hammock is a "mesh" type spoiler construction, which wraps the boots perfectly for excellent hold.
Straps - Hammockstrap™ 2.0, Supergrip Capstrap™ 2.0 : the lightweight mesh-like strap envelops your boots even better. With its latticed, streamlined design, this strap creates either a flexible hold or one that is securely fixed for a challenging run. Reduces pinch points. Reversible so you can choose between a firm hold and fluidity. Supergrip Capstrap™ has been used instead of traditional foam and gum; it's a lightweight EVA foam that perfectly moulds to the shape of the boot.
Buckles - Smooth Glide™ Buckles: the most reliable fastening system on the market. The dual component is made of polycarbonate for an increased lifespan. All buckles are made of reliable aluminium.
Compatible with most binding systems: 4*4 and The Channel. Please note that the 3D hinge disc is required for mounting on 3D systems (not included)
