Carbon Race Probe 240

The Pieps Carbon Race Probe 240 probe is designed to validate an initial search and determine the exact position of the victim.

Combined with a avalanche transceiver and a shovel, it is an essential piece of equipment for mountaineers and rescuers. It is a probe designed in carbon with a length of 240 cm with a diameter of 10.6 mm and a feather weight of 120 g. The probe features the Speed Cone system which allows rapid extension. It also features a safe and quick locking system once deployed. The Carbon Race Probe 240 has a scale in centimetres to read the victim's burial depth and determine the snow profile.

This probe is coloured at the tip and in the middle to make it more effective when clearing. Finally, it has a Dyneema® buckle with a compact fastening for optimum fit in your bag. Ultra-light, it is particularly suited to use in competition.
