The Black Crows' Camox Freebird 2022 is a mid fat unisex touring ski.
To begin with, the weight of 2750 g per pair of 178.2 cm was maintained, a weight that was modified two seasons ago allowing it to shed 600 g compared to the version. The Paulownia wood core and the ABS section is shortened for better grip. It feels so much lighter on the way up so you'll be on full form (more or less!) to tackle the descent. In order to maintain torsional rigidity and create a dynamic ski, the core is covered in carbon and glass fibre. The moderate flex makes skiing comfortable and pleasingly playful.
The shape is the same, with progressive front rocker, and slightly raised tail. This is a playful, comfortable ski. The ski is therefore easy to manoeuvre and provides great float in the right conditions. The classic camber underfoot provides better bite on hard snow and faultless stability on acceleration.
The Black Crows Camox Freebird is a model of incredible versatility, for those looking for a ski that can take them anywhere, in any condition, and bring them home in the certainty that they have had a lot of fun on the slopes!
