Barryvox Package

The Barryvox Package from the Swiss Mammut brand is a Pack containing an avalanche transceiver. Barryvox, a probe Probe 240 and an avalanche shovel Alugator Ride.

A.V.D BARRYVOX
This model is an avalanche victim detector designed for off-piste skiing, ski touring and mountaineering. Mammut has decided to completely revolutionise its benchmark avalanche victim detector, the Barryvox. The device's unfailing reliability remains unchanged, but major improvements have been made in terms of performance and use. This model is extremely easy to use, facilitating rescue operations, which are always challenging in emergency situations.

This device has a maximum scope of 70 m, one of the widest on the market, which facilitates victim searches and allows you to obtain the first signal very quickly. A long scope will also reduce the distances of zigzag searches. The device assists Barryvox you in rescue operations: it shows you the distance, the direction to follow and the number of people buried.

Discover its casing and interface: easy-to-read information, a device that can be operated with gloves, a resistant casing , and intuitive acoustic-guided search. To make it even safer, the main button incorporates a security feature SafeLock to prevent any unintentional activation of the reception mode.

The Barryvox proposes marking victims in order to facilitate search and rescue and avoid signal conflicts. Once the first victim has been marked, while your colleagues are busy probing and taking out the first victim, you can start looking for the second victim... and so on.

Finally, the pouch BarryMount in which you attach your avalanche transceiver is very well made. Adjustable and very practical, it allows handling with only one hand and without removing gloves. It prevents from unwanted activation of your device.

Other functionalities:
- Mode D.V.A. Check : allows you to check that the devices belonging to the people in your group are working properly.
- W-Link: Additional communication channel for improved search performance.
- Auto Revert : if no movement is detected for 4 minutes, your avalanche transceiver will automatically switch back to transmit mode.

Probe PROBE 240
This probe, with a length of 240 cm, is very light and stable thanks to 6 sturdy strands. The probe storage cover includes the different stages of a rescue to assist you in case of panic.

Shovel ALUGATOR RIDE
It features an ergonomic, asymmetrical T-handle combined with a compact blade design, offering an ideal space/performance ratio.
