Freeride skis - Men -
The Bacon 122 2027 is a men's freeride ski from the brand Line, designed for expert-level riders.
A perfect ski for powder use far off the beaten track. Its 122 mm waist and double rocker provide stability as well as excellent flotation over freshly fallen snow. The Thin Tip technology delivers lively energy throughout the ski to pull off your best tricks and also link smooth switch landings thanks to its double tips.
Built with a core of poplar and paulownia wood, offering exceptional flexibility and durability over time. Thanks to the combination with the Thick-cut Sidewall, which reinforces the edges and base of the ski, it is highly resistant to impacts. As you can tell, this ski is made to be pushed hard.
A dynamic pop and incredible lift are what this ski promises to take you further and faster! On harder snow, it remains very pleasant to ski, even if that is not its preferred terrain. Line makes a gesture for the planet with its Bio-Resin technology, reducing the carbon footprint of the resin by 20% for each ski produced.
The Bacon 122 is very playful, manoeuvrable and offers great flotation for all your future backcountry and freeride sessions. Dare to try it, it won’t disappoint you!

| Ski length (cm) | Sidecut dimensions (mm) | Radius (m) | Weight per ski (g) |
| 170 | 153 - 122 - 145 | 15.8 | 1,900 |
| 178 | 153 - 122 - 145 | 17.7 | 2,040 |
| 185 | 153 - 122 - 145 | 19.4 | 2,160 |
- Fatty 1.7 mm base that is more durable for a longer lifespan
- Paulownia and poplar core
- Ultra-high-density polyethylene sidewalls
| THICK-CUT SIDEWALL | Increase in the amount of sidewall material extending into the core of the ski while adding more material on the steel edges to increase the total contact surface. This creates sidewalls that are more resistant to impacts from hard edges, such as sliding rails. |
| THIN TIP | The ski core has been extended to the tips and tail, while creating a glass-on-glass bonding zone in the tip and tail. This uniformly compacts the tip and endpiece of the ski and encapsulates anything that could delaminate within a large glass-on-glass bonding area: in case of delamination, this will prevent it from spreading to the core of the ski and limit the issue to edge chipping. |
| SYMMETRIC FLEX | The same flex pattern at the front and rear of your ski. It adapts to the terrain in the same way whether skiing forwards or switch. |
| BIO-RESIN | Offers better adhesion, improved resistance to cold temperatures, and a 20% reduction in the carbon footprint of the resin for each ski produced. |
| EARLY RISE | The tip and tail lift off the snow to bring the contact points closer to the centre of the ski. This increases the ski’s flotation in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hard snow when rolling onto the edge. |
| FIVECUT | Five different sidecut radius shapes are combined into one to provide the ski with perfect control regardless of the pressure applied on the edge. This keeps the ski agile and responsive at any speed. |
