The Antidote from K2 Snowboard is a snowboard designed for advanced riders seeking a board capable of switching from freeride to freestyle without compromise.
Its responsive character allows for carving turns at the resort as well as tackling the most demanding features, with stability and precision. Its A1 core, combining poplar, bamboo, and paulownia, offers snappiness, durability, and a reduced weight. The ICG™ 20 triaxial fiberglass with carbon enhances pop and responsiveness without excessively stiffening the board. Additionally, the SpaceGlass™ inserts in the nose and at the endpiece reduce weight and vibrations while increasing pressure on contact points, while the Carbon Darkweb™ improves stability and transitions at all speeds.
The real strength of the Antidote lies in its 3 mm 3D base profile, which facilitates turn initiation, deflects loose snow, and limits catchiness. The Hybritech™ construction and Recess 3D further optimise manoeuvrability and reduce rotational inertia. Finally, the 4001 sintered base impregnated with wax guarantees fast and durable glide.
