Used alongside an avalanche transceiver and a shovel, it is an essential piece of equipment for mountaineers and rescuers. This probe is made of aluminium, measuring 220 cm in length with a diameter of 12.5 mm and weighing 260 g. It features the Speed Cone system, allowing for rapid extension. It also includes a secure and quick locking system once deployed. The probe is graduated in centimetres, enabling you to read the burial depth of the victim and assess the snow profile. Finally, it has a compact elastic loop for optimal retention in your pack.
