Camber:
Blended Rocker + Camber : Blended Rocker is a combination of a flat board profile and a rocker that gives you forgiveness, the flat section prevents the board from being too aggressive and the rocker prevents the nose from catching an edge. This gives a lot of tolerance to the board and makes it easy to learn - minimising scorpions.
Shape:
Directional: the tip is wider and longer than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, and allowing for greater stability at high speeds, while improving float.
Radial: When the basics are right. A radial edge is the classic snowboard, where you have the radius drawing a single circle. This is the most basic way to turn, it will allow you to carve but you are limited in the variations of turns you can make.
Core:
Poplar/paulownia: poplar core for a perfect balance between durability and constant flex. And the paulownia brings lightness.
Topsheet:
Triax: Tri-axial fibreglass.
Sole - Sintered True: sintered sole obtained by pressure. Stronger than extruded soles.
Il a neigé dans la nuit? La poudre est encore toute fraîche? La dameuse vient de passer? N'hésitez plus ! La 420 Uninc JPS de YES existe pour ce scénario précis !
Cette board, presque plus large que longue, nous fait voler au dessus de la neige. La flottaison est digne d'une motoneige Ski-doo de Laponie. Avec la 420 Uninc JPS au pied et un bon enneigement bien frais, on se régale.
Côté piste, la 420 Uninc JPS est à l'aise également. La prise de vitesse n'est pas immédiate mais ce n'est pas suprenant au vu de ses dimensions. Cependant, une fois lancée, nous avons à faire à une fusée sur carre. Que ce soit sur glace ou neige damée, la tenue de carre est bonne et la rigidité de la board nous permet de découper la neige.
Malgré son shape imposant et original, le 420 Uninc JPS va devenir une référence du freeride.
