The Templar by Rossignol a men's allmountain performance snowboard for intermediate to advanced level riders.
A reference in the Rossignol range, the Templar is a versatile board designed to go everywhere. Playful and reactive, the Templar is quite easy to handle while offering good stability. This year, it incorporates basalt and aramid reinforcements into its construction for better performance when it gains speed.
Featuring RadCut technology, a balanced symmetrical flex and a more moderate and forgiving version of the Amptek camber, the Templar from Rossignol Snowboards is an accessible and fun All-Mountain board that ensures perfectly fluid edge changes.
The presence of Serrated Edge 5S makes it forgiving at low speeds while remaining very grippy at high speeds. Finally, its core and directional flex make it a stable and maneuverable board for smooth carving fun.
The Templar is the exemplary board for an all-mountain program provided!

- Camber:
AMPTEK All-Mountain: The All-Mountain camber is 40% of camber between the feet and 60% of rocker in nose and tail (30% for each tip, obviously ...) This all-purpose camber is ideal for intermediate and advanced levels. It is versatile and provides a perfect blend of grip, glide on powder and ease of pivoting. The Amptek All-Mountain is equally at home in freestyle and powder
- Shape:
Directional Twin : The nose and tail are the same width but the nose is longer than the tail. The inserts are set back 20mm in comparison to the centre of the board. The result is a very directional and maneuverable board in all snow conditions.
Radcut : The combination of conventional curve radii between the supports and inverted radii of varying lengths allows the contact points to be optimised according to speed
- Flex:
5/10 - Directional All-Mountain : - Directional flex: Rigid under the rear foot for better control. The skate has been stiffened to increase stability at high speeds. Turning is made easier by a softer flex under the front foot.
Core:
Wood CBF: Hard and soft woods blended together with carbon reinforcements along the entire length of the core
- Topsheet:
FiberGlass : Available in a variety of shapes and weights, fiberglass allows customized flex and torsional strength management while stabilizing the mechanical properties of the core.
- Sole:
4400 Sintered : abrasion resistant sole for very fast speed.
- Edges:
Serrated 5S edges: Undulations distributed along the load-bearing length that maximize edge pressure and significantly improve control and stability in the most difficult conditions. Available in 4 versions exclusive to Rossignol Snowboards. For the Magne-Traction 5S, we took the Mag 7S and removed the 2 undulations on the outside of the feet while keeping the 3 in the middle, resulting in a very forgiving board for a smooth glide, with perfect edge hold where you need it most
The Templaroffers serenity in every maneuver and performs on all terrains. It never failsand remains under control on all types of snow
The stiffness is just right balance between not being too stuff but also resisting small movements. Turning is done naturally and the edge-to-edge transitions are efficient and not too physical
The Templarismade to have a good time anytime and anywhere!
Advantages: versatility, grip and accessibility.
Disadvantages: none
