Description

The Ruler Step On® from Burton are men's all-mountain snowboard boots. Burton wished to revisit the step-in bindings and is once again making history in the snowboarding world with this complete new generation of Step On® boots and bindings.

The Ruler Step On Step On® is a revisited version of the Ruler, the all-mountain boot that has proven its worth as a versatile boot, thanks to its top-of-the-range features and performance. Versatility, safety and comfort are the foundations upon which Burton has created the trustworthy Ruler Step On® boots.

The main difference between the strapped and Step On® bindings is that it is the boot that dictates which binding/boot pack to get, and no longer the binding. The Ruler Step On® has a (6/10) medium flex, this along with the Lock-Up Cuff heel support system, means this boot offers a perfect overall foot hold so you can truly go for it in your carving turns on the piste and at the snowpark. Softer than the Photon Step On®, the Ruler Step On® is made for riders with a more chilled out style.

The point of the Step On® system is that you can put your bindings on whilst standing. Simply step onto the baseplate and the connection points on the sides of your feet and on the spoiler will matchup. No need to sit in the cold, wet, snow to put on your snowboard, and no one will complain about having to wait for you at the ski lifts!

The major advantage of this new system is the responsiveness of the boot-to-board power transfer. thanks to the connection points, especially at the spoiler, the boots are literally stuck down from the spoiler to the baseplate so shifts from edge to edge have never been so fast.

If you want to stand out this winter with innovative and high-performance kit, then the Ruler Step On® all-mountain boots are just what you need. They are sure to delight advanced boarders that like to push the limits.

Team review

On s'explique.
