Description

The Xplorer Rescue Mips® helmet is a model from the Cairnbrand.

Its Hybrid construction provides maximum resistance on the upper part of the helmet in sensitive areas (ABS) and a shell (In-Mold) on the lower part to gain weight and comfort. This helmet features MIPS® technology, which provides optimum protection against rotating impacts.

It also benefits from the Wheel Fit System, an adjustment system that offers maximum precision for a perfect fit in all conditions. Its adjustable ventilations with Thermo Flow thermoregulation channels allow you to adapt the air circulating in your helmet for a perfect temperature.

Its OSS earpieces (Optimized sound system) offers optimal hearing quality and allows you to hear as well as without any helmet. Finally, it is fitted with the RECCO® system integrated directly into the hull so that it can be located by the emergency services in the event of an accident.

The low-friction layer of the Mips® creates a sliding margin between the helmet and the head, offering improved protection against brain damage caused by violent rotation during an impact.
RECCO®	RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system, used worldwide to help locate people quickly. The two-part system features a detector used by rescuers, and reflectors integrated into clothing. Together, they enable rapid radar detection without replacing the use of transmitter-receivers.
OPTIMIZED SOUND SYSTEM	The earphones are sunk into the inside to avoid blocking the ears, formed in a V-shape to perfectly surround the ear for maximum comfort. In addition, they feature a mesh-lined opening to let the sound pass through whilst reducing the flow of air.
