| MERINO WOOL | The comfort and performance of merino wool is simply outstanding. It is soft and very flexible. It provides excellent thermal insulation and body temperature regulation in both winter and summer. It can absorb a third of its weight in the form of water vapour, and the warmth it provides prevents you from feeling chills. Even when wet, the top remains warm. The wool fibres are naturally resistant to the effects of movement, do not show dirt and are anti-bacterial, which greatly reduces odours and the need for washing. Like all natural materials, merino wool is biodegradable |
| ANTI-BACTERIAL |
Materials used in the Manufacture of socks, often placed in the heel/toe areas, with anti-bacterial properties. Like Silver Thread, Carbon, or even Merino wool and bio ceramics. This means healthier socks, less odour and fewer sweat-related problems. |
| FINE BOUCLETTE |
Unlike our competitors, we use special machines (200 needles) to knit a much finer terry cushioned to avoid friction between the foot and the shoe. In 18 gauge instead of the regular 14 gauge. What's more, the comfort, flexibility and durability of a Micro cushioned sock are incomparable with a regular terry cushioned sock. |
| THERMO REGULATION |
This term refers to products with a composition based on materials with a high thermoregulation capacity. So you can regulate the Warmth whether it's warm or cold. And contrary to popular belief, wool is the best thermoregulator there is, which is one of the reasons why at LCF® we use Merino wool in so many of our products, including inter-seasonal and summer products. |
