A more accessible model than the rest of the range, the Tour Operator guarantees the top-of-the-range performances typical of the Amplid brand all the same.
The directional shape of the Tour Operator, with a wider and longer nose, combined with the Cruise Camber, gives the board a better load-bearing capacity without impacting the grip on harder snow. The rigid flex of the Tour Operator (7/10) retains the precision and aids the board under the supports. Like this you can charge with great confidence.
Amplid have made the Tour Operator in order to make hiking outings more comfortable. It has a lighter weight thansk to its Lite Core which offers an excellent weight to performance ratio. The climb is easier with the Tour Operator. On the downhill it will not fail you, and will bring you maximum pleasure.

Camber:
Cruise Camber (Camber + rocker): the standard camber underneath the supports completed by the nose rocker makes the board even livelier on powder and gives the board a versatile look.
Shape:
Tapered Directional: classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on unpacked snow. Tapered refers to a shape in which the nose is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improved float.
All Terrain Tips: A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
Core:
Lite Core: different varieties of wood treated, cut and aligned to guarantee an optimal weight/power ratio.
Basalt Suspension Strips: the basalt fibre reinforcements are placed in a V shape from the points of contact to the centre of the inserts. The basalt inserts play a cushioning role.
Topsheet:
Biax Fiberlass: dual-direction, dual-layer fibreglass laminate for a reactive and tolerant board.
Base:
Sint 7 HD base: premium wax absorbing sintered base for unparalleled glide.
Bolted Tip Clips: use screws instead of rivets. Easier to change in case of breakage.
Splitboard Tune: the edges are slightly rounded at the ends to facilitate the application and removal of the skins.
