Description

The TLT 8 Expedition CR W are women's touring boots from Salomon.

The TLT 8 Expedition CR W is a technical boot that is suitable for tourers looking for performance in an ultralight boot with support that stays efficient on the downhill. Its extremely light weight of 1.1 kg per boot and its huge travel enables easy, natural ascent, increasing your performance. For downhill, its construction combining Grimalid with fibreglass gives a progressive flex with sufficient rigidity so you can ski harder than you can imagine with a boot that's this light.

In terms of use, its Ultra Lock 4.0 locking system for the transition between uphill or downhill mode is fast and easy to use, even with gloves. It ensures a dual function as it enables tightening of the collar as soon as you switch to ski mode. In short, there's no more adjustment to take care of when skinning off, which will save you loads of time and avoid getting cold at the top.

The TLT 8 Expedition CR W are also equipped with MasterStep inserts that also aid binding fitting. The front of the original boot without overhang has helped move back the pivot point which eases walking in the mountain.

With its Custom Ready thermoformable liner, this model offers much more comfort than a competition alpine ski boot and allows you to get our in peace for both quick and long trips without hurting your feet! This liner is as warm as the brand's Custom Light model.

The TLT 8 Expedition CR W is therefore the perfect choice for ski tourers looking for a light and quick boot cut for performance while maintaining comfort and support for your feet.

Speed Nose:
Increased efficiency on the ascent. The reduced volume at the front of the boot and the point of rotation positioned towards the rear which eases walking in the mountain.

Master Step:
Just One Click - patented Master Step inserts make fitting the boot into the binding easier than ever. Placement of the boot into the binding is done using a simple click.

Ultra Lock 4.0 Closure system:
The practical dual function buckle enables both opening and closure of the collar as well as switch from walking to ski mode. Rack fastening ensures precise adjustment for a more secure foot hold and greater comfort.

Lambda Frame:
The addition of a reinforced skeleton on the outer shell provides increased side and lateral rigidity for more efficient and precise transmission of force. This technology enables reduction of the number of components using durable material on the shell, all while making it easier to walk and take off or put on your boots.

Compatibility:
- The TLT 8 expedition CR W is not compatible with the Kingpin binding from Marker or the Beast from Dynafit.
