Description

The men's The Navigator from Capita is an all-mountain freeride snowboard for riders of an advanced level.

The the Navigator is the most advanced freeride board from the brand. Even if it performs well on the piste, it is in the backcountry that you will feel its full potential.

The Navigator is ready to lift off like never before with a 25mm setback, a directional shape with a very pronounced front rocker ending with Wah-Pow! tips. The Navigator is happy to cover every inch of powder and take the reins on technical descents.

On the piste, The Navigator is reliable and grippy with its positive camber and carbon reinforcements at the front which stiffen the board for good cornering.

The presence of Inlaid Cork Dampeners inserts will serve to stabilize the board at high speed. No more nose shaking and the board hitting your legs when you descend quickly.

The Navigator is an all-mountain board that will allow you to go around the resort without taking your head off, but above all it will make you fall in love with powder snow if you haven't already.

Please note that the colours of the topsheet vary according to size.

Camber:

Alpine V1 Profile: combining standard, flat and reverse camber. Positive camber between presses for grip and support. Flat camber outside of the presses for stability on the nose. Reverse camber (rocker) for tolerance and easier turning. This new camber provides the pop and responsiveness of a standard camber board, with the handling and tolerance of a flat or reverse camber board.

Shape:

Parabolic/Directional/1" Setback: shape with the bindings a little further back towards the tail and a slightly longer tip for better flotation in deep snow. The sidecut changes along the board to allow for easy turn initiation while maintaining good control during the turn.

Materials/Technologies :

Core:
- P2 Superlight Core: Extremely light and versatile core combined with high impact resistance and maximum pop.
- Inlaid Cork Dampeners : Absorbs vibrations in the tip of the nose to help you ride on piste or in powder in confidence.
- Carbon Fiber Beams: two carbon strips are placed along the entire length of the core between the inserts and the edges. Power and responsivity are boosted to the max!
- FULL ABS1000 Sidewalls: durable ABS sidewalls

Topsheet:
- Special Blend Fiberglass & Magic Bean Resin: Tolerant bi-axial fibreglass dosed for board performance control. The Magic Bean Resin is made from 60% recycled materials and beans!
- PLT Topsheet Technology
- Multitech Level 4 DeepSpace TM Silkscreen

Base:
QuantumDrive base: new version of sintered base in very high density polyethylene for optimal gliding.

Team review
