Very easy to handle, the Stylus is built with a Flat Top camber™. This one is designed for beginners since the Easy Bevel raised edges limit errors as much as possible. This will allow you to concentrate fully on your first turns... The very soft flex (2/10) gives the board an ultra-tolerant character and allows you to ride comfortably on the piste.
Once you have mastered the basics, the Burton Stylus will stay with you as your snowboarding improves!
Camber - Flat Top™with Easy Bevel: a flat profile between the bindings increases stability, improves balance and provides constant edge control. The early rise tip and tail reduce edge errors and ensure a smooth ride. With the Easy Bevel, the convex shape of the sole raises the edges and reduces edge errors and hangs.
Shape - Twin: perfectly symmetrical shape to provide better balance whether you're riding normal or switch. Brings natural balance and stability to your rotations, butters and jibs.
Flex - 2/10 - Twin : symmetrical soft flex from tip to tail for a balanced ride whether you're riding normal or switch.
Core - FSC™ Certified Fly™ 900G Core and Squeezebox and Squeezebox Low: resistant, pop loaded wooden core. Core made with dual-species, dual-density wood. Wood from sustainably managed forests! The Squeezebox Low construction involves thickening the board's profile around the binding inserts and thinning it between bindings and at the nose and tail to improve power transfer.
