The Split BRD has Lib Tech's most advanced camber. With a slight rocker between the tips and the camber under the supports, the C3 Camber is an aggressive camber that brings the ideal control, power and precision.
The power/weight ratio of the Split BRD is ideal. Indeed Lib Tech use a SplitBoard Construction with 95% Paulownia wood and 5% Poplar wood. The intent here is to use a high-end, lightweight wood, offering the same performance as Poplar. That's how we get a lightweight board, ideal for ascents, but powerful on the most extreme descents.
The Magne-Traction edges ensure grip on all types of snow, and the directional shape guarantees the board's flotation on powder. So, we get a splitboard that performs on all terrains.
The Split BRD is the ideal splitboard, combining lightness and the best power for snowboarders ready to conquer the mountains.

Camber:
C3 Camber (standard camber + rocker in the centre): a camber for high level snowboarders. It is built with a slight rocker between the feet combined with a powerful camber on the nose and tail. The central rocker balances the pressure between the nose and tail to maximise edge grip and board precision.
Shape:
Directional: a shape in which the front is wider than the back, making it easier to enter and exit curves, allowing for greater stability at high speeds, and improving buoyancy.

Fibre Reinforced Insert Array. Tri-ax/Bi-Ax: reinforced inserts and biaxial and triaxial fibreglass.
Core:
Split Board Construction: a core made of 5% poplar wood (Aspen) and 95% Paulownia wood, from plantations close to the Lib Tech factory, to ensure lighter weight without impacting the performance and robustness of the board.
UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection: the nose and tail of the board are in UHMW polyethylene and not wood. Why? In the event of embedding after an impact, no water will enter your core and so your board will last longer.
Birch Internal Sidewall: The wood along the edges is birch.
UHMW Sintered Sidewall: the sidewalls are in UHMW (a sort of elastomer) and not in polluting ABS.
Base:
Eco Sublimated TNT : extruded base, Eco-friendly, faster and easier to maintain.
Thin Tip & Tail : Thinner nose and tail for greater lightness.
