The Solar model has been designed on a simple principle: to offer the best for going both up and down the slope!
With an incredibly light weight (1150 g per shoe!), this little bombshell should not slow you down on the way up. Its disengagement system offers a huge 68° range of movement so that walking remains as natural as possible even on the steepest slopes. We challenge you to reach the maximum incline! In any case, you will no longer be able to say "my equipment is too heavy and constraining" to excuse your poor performances, people will no longer believe you!
Once the ski mode has been activated, the Solar is not to be outdone, thanks to its solid Pebax construction, precise tightening and wide strap, which makes them very dynamic for such light boots. The Spider Buckle Evo™ clamping system is very effective in achieving a very secure fit and avoiding unsupported areas.
Switching from on mode to ski mode is very easy thanks to the Swing-Lock Closure System which allows a fixed and fast closing. Designed to protect the mechanical parts of the system, it guarantees great durability of the shoe and avoids damage due to impact.
On the fit side, its 100% thermoformable shoe makes walking even easier and offers optimal comfort when descending by absorbing difficult terrain. Its innovative EZ Flex Overlap Tongue offers a wide range of movement at the ankle and reduces compression points for even more comfort. Finally, an additional sole avoids direct contact between the foot and the inner shell for optimal thermal insulation, making the Solar one of the warmest ski-mountaineering boots on the market!
