Description

The Pulse 2023 is a snowboard for men from Salomon Snowboard. Designed for all-mountain use, it specialises in freestyle. It is perfect for beginner riders who want to progress.

There are several reasons why it is great for freestyle. First of all, its twin directional shape provides power at full speed. Also, its Flat Out Camber profile, with camber between the feet allow for maximum stability and reactivity. Finally, the Radial profile is the classic sidecut which provides optimum responsiveness in both regular and switch mode.

The Aspen core and fiberglass layers provide a soft flex and an excellent pop that will allow you to have fun on jumps, whether you're in a snowpark or off-piste. The Pulse is powerful enough to sustain curves on packed snow as well.

Whether you prefer to go big on the jumps or ride the slopes, this is the board for you!

Camber:
Flat Out Camber : Flat profile with a slight camber between the feet for maximum stability and responsiveness when you need it.

Shape:
-Twin Directional: A twin shape for freestyle moves with a directional flex for power at high speed. Binding stance is slightly set back from centre.

- Radial: The Radial profile is the classic sidecut which provides optimum responsiveness in both regular and switch mode.

Core:
- Aspen: The poplar covers the entire length and the high density birch strips allow the insert to be well held in place.

Technology:
- Natural wax:
A paraffin-free wax made from natural ingredients. A non-polluting formula that meets the highest of standards in terms of glide speed.

- Extruded:
Long-lasting glide combined with easy maintenance.

- Bite free edges
: A factory finish with a softened edge angle at the ends for a smoother glide and less grip on the side cuts.

- Standard stone finish : This is the industry standard for high-end boards, the only difference is that at Salomon, it's their ‘basic’ finish.

- Bi-axial medium density fibreglass: The use of low density fibres Salomon Snowboard to produce lightweight boards that will retain their playful and forgiving flex forever.

- ABS: The molecular structure can be described as a concrete bar. It possesses the stiffness necessary for energy transfer, and the dampening properties to absorb impact efficiently.

Team review
