Description

Intermediate and advanced riders, get ready to take off with the Process Flying V from Burton. The Flying V® is an adaptation of the Process range and promises to take your breath away. Originally designed for freestyle, the Process Flying V now offers more versatility in powder snow.

The hybrid Flying V™ camber improves the floatation in powder of the Process Flying V et makes the board easier to handle than a traditional camber. The Flying V™ is also more forgiving on spin landings. The Super Fly II™ 700G Core makes this board lighter, while the Process Flying V integrates all the essential technology you need to set off without hesitation.

If impressing at the park is what you're after along with a well-balanced ride, then you're sure to love the perfectly symmetrical twin shape and its (3/10) soft flex that is perfectly distributed from the nose to tail of the Process Flying V. No snags on the bar thanks to the Scoop nose and tail! On hard snow the Flying V wont grip as hard as its camber counterpart. Pure Pop.

La Burton Process Flying V Well suited to suit intermediate and advanced snowboarders who want to have fun in powder as well as at the snow park.

Camber:

Flying V™ : A mix of classic camber and rocker parts, the Flying V™ offers powder flotation and manoeuvrabilitywhile the underfoot camber provides edge control and pop to the board. The Flying V™ reduces edge catches and makes spins easier.

Shape :

Twin : The twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride which enables you to turn and shift weight with exceptional stability, whetheryou're riding classic or switch.

Composition/Technologies :

Core - FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox - Super Fly II 700G uses stronger, lighter wood to provide a high level of responsiveness and strength while reducing the overall weight. The Dualzone EGD engineered woodgrain is placed along the heel and toe edges on two continuous zones that are perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives a more coherent edge hold and reinforced reactivity.

Fiberglass -Triax™: Triax fiberglass offers versatile flex and response for all types of riding, from smooth to intense.

Base
 - Sintered : The solid, ultra-porous sintered base offers increased durability and increased wax absorption for an improved gliding feel.

The Channel®: This snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with major brands' bindings.

Frostbite Edges - Frostbite Edges : edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better edge grip.

Scoop : exaggerated spoon shaped nose and tail which is more forgiving on landings and on boxes.

Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for more lightness and improved handling.

Infinite Ride™
: this technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, bounce and behaviour throughout its lifespan.

Epoxy Super Sap® : The Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which certainly works in our favour

Team review

The Process Flying V is playful and receptive and offers excellent performance.

The Process Flying V is the little sister of the Custom Flying V. Very versatile and tolerant, it has a very receptive flex. The Flying V™ makes the board easy to handle in powder but reduces grip on difficult terrain or icy snow. It's very well balanced with a Twin shape for tricks.

Advantages: accessibility and float in powder.

Disadvantages: less grip than with a classic camber
