Description

The Burton Process is a men's all-mountain board for intermediary and advanced riders. The Process goes back to traditional snowboarding principles to maximise versatility. Quite a few riders are going to love the performance level! So if you're a snowboarder that is in to everything, climb aboard the Burton Process rocket and get ready to take off!

The weight has dropped because of the Super Fly II™ 700G Core and the Process also has some essential tech that will give you all the confidence you need to fly. The Pure Pop camber and Frostbite edges provide bite every time, whether the snow is ultra frozen or crusted over.

If you're looking to impress at the park, and ride steady along the way, you'll love the perfectly symmetrical twin shape and soft flex (4/10) which is distributed equally from the Process's nose to tail. Rails, 720°, nose presses, buttering and other ollies are no problem at all with the Process. And if you feel like getting off the slopes, the Process will take you off into the powder as if on auto pilot!

The Process is rider Mark McMorris's pro model and will help versatile riders who are intermediate or advanced level to excel on any type of terrain - and to do so smoothly and in style.

Other features

Camber - PurePop Camber:the PurePop Camber has the same profile as typical camber but is more pronounced between mountings. Two flat zones between the mountings and the edges of the board amplify pop. This adds a playful dimension to this lively, responsive camber. The Early Rise on the nose and tail improves turns and makes caught edges less likely.

Shape - Twin: perfectly symmetrical shape to provide better balance whether you're riding normal or switch. Brings natural balance and stability to your rotations, butters and jibs.

Flex- 4/10 - Twin: symmetrical soft flex from tip to tail for a balanced ride whether you're riding normal or switch.

Carbon -  FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox : highly resistant light wooden core. Dualzone™ EGD™ is a type of core construction which involves positioning wood fibres on the bindings and middle of the board perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. The Squeezebox construction involves thickening and thinning sections of the board's profile around the binding inserts and between bindings to improve energy transfer.

Fiberglass - Triax™: Versatile flex and response whatever the situation is.

Base - Sintered : base with sintered finish and enhanced sustainability for excellent slide.

Technology:

- The Channel®: Burton's own mounting system which makes it quick and easy to change stance and binding angles.
- Frostbite Edges: edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better edge hold.
- Scoop : exaggerated spoon shaped nose and tail which is more forgiving on landing and on boxes.
- Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board to increase weight and improve handling.
- Infinite Ride™: technology that ensures the snowboard retains the same flex, pop and energy it had the first time you used it.
- Super Sap ®Epoxy: resistant topsheet.

Team review

The Burton Process offers an easy grip with capabilities you'd expect from an everyday board. It is stable at high speed and keeps a good carve grip. The PurePop Camber makes it more playable and stable on its tips.

It really rides very well in any situation and ensures a successful day no matter what your plans are. Despite a classic camber that's harder to carry than its Flying V camber sister, the Process forgives small lapses of concentration quite easily and limits edge catching.

Advantages: versatility, accessibility and grip.

Disadvantages : the Process has no weakness!
