Advice : Use the foot sizer from SIDAS to help you find the right size
The Burton Photon Boa® Wide are all-mountain men's freeride snowboard boots for riders who need a precise shoe in all situations without compromising on comfort. The Photon Boa® has a high performing, effective lacing system which keeps the foot firmly in place in the liner. The Photon Boa® Wide leaves no place for uncertainty when it comes to edge grip.
The lacing technology and improved Boa® lacing system apply to three independent foot zones: upper, lower and Achilles tendon. The foot reliably remains in place across the length of the boot. The Photon Boa® Wide is completely in synch with your foot for instant reactions.
Designed for all-mountain freerides, the Photon Boa® has a stiff flex for attacking hard, focused rides. If you're looking to drop cliffs, the B3 gel cushioning will be soft underfoot when you land. Ready for any adventure, the Vibram ® Ecostep™ soles allow you to walk confidently without slipping. Which is handy when you want to get to fresh snow!
The Photon Boa Wide is just like the Photon Boa, with more volume for a generous fit.
As you may have gathered, with the Photon Boas® Wide on your feet, you can up your game and really get into the backcountry!

Gel B3: cushion for repeated impact which is unaffected by cold weather.
Isothermic Sleeping Bag technology: light, fine layer which reflects the warmth of the foot.
Lacing:
Boa® Coiler™ closure system: these Burton New England Rope laces are virtually indestructible and guaranteed for life-long performance. The Coiler spool is a quick and effective system to adjust laces easily. Natural fibre ropes have a more natural flex and feel for greater comfort.
Lacing technology: the dial-it-in system increases heel hold across three distinct lacing zones with a single dial. Secure and consistent fit across the whole boot.
Comfort:
Total Comfort Construction: best possible feel from the very first use. The Total Comfort design leaves out the process of moulding the foot to the liner, favouring instead a liner that adapts to your body directly.
Snow-proof internal gusset: the lower zone of the boot is completely sealed off from the snow, keeping feet warm and dry all day.
Outsole:
Rubber Vibram ® Ecostep™ (30% recycled) outsole: Vibram outsoles are great for grip and sensory experience. Two EVA and B3 gel panels on the heel and front of the foot for enhanced rebound and cushioning.
Shrinkage™ technology: reduces the overall outer-sole by one size. A size 10 will wear a size 10 but with a size 9 outer-sole profile. A shorter, lighter weight.
Sizing tip: We recommend that you order a size up from your usual size.
The Burton Photon Boa® were inspired by the Burton Imperial. The main difference is the Boa's lacing system® which provides a back leg support closer to the Achilles tendon. This support keeps the foot perfectly in place in the Imprint ™ 3 liner.
The quality Vibram sole® ensures excellent grip with the binding, but slightly reduces sensations when in contact with the board. The Photon Boa® are excellent all-mountain boots, particularly if you love freeride.
The Pros: verstile, the soles, cushioning.
The Cons: Nothing to report!
