Ultra Mountain Twin 2023
The Jones Ultra Mountain Twin is, as its name indicates, the Ultra version of the Mountain Twin. The aim of the Ultra range from Jones is to take an already high performance board to the next level.
Here they have made it a hyper versatile board that you can charge at any time, in any snow conditions. Whether it's in 1.5m of powder, carving on the piste, on a steep slope or in freestyle (its speciality) it will never disappoint you. So no surprise that the Freeride World Tour world champion, Sammy Luebke chose this beast to get him to the top of the podium!
With its very rigid flex of 9/10, it can go anywhere without ever losing stability. The Ultra Construction assembly, combining a Power Core, Basalt Stringers inserts and a Triax Fiberglass layer, makes for a board with incredible pop and responsiveness. As if that wasn't enough, it's mounted on a Sintered 9900 Base sole that will have you gliding along with the feeling of never stopping to accelerate.
The Camrock profile with a center camber and two end rockers, combined with the Directionnal Twin shape, provide a huge pop while maintaining great handling. It is a board that turns quickly and well, whether on snow or in the air.
Finally, the Traction Tech 3.0 serrated edges will make you feel like you are carving in the rails as you will have so much grip in your edges.
The Ultra Mountain Twin is an ultra versatile board that will allow the best of you to send heavy at any time but especially that will allow you to stay in control of your board.
Please note: In an effort to reduce waste, Jones randomly produces the sole colours by reversing graphics and backgrounds.
- Camber: CamRock: classic camber with rocker for greater lift on powder snow and grip in all conditions. Loooong nose and tip rockers for a huge increase in playfulness and handling. The Camrock significantly improves freestyle performance and powder lift. Certainly the best camber ever produced!

Directional Twin: symmetrical shape ideal for playability and figures. Allows for easy switch riding.
Twin Flex pattern
Blunt Nose: Curved nose to improve the glide and resistance the grip of the snow and therefore reduces the "ploughing" effect of the nose.
Traction Tech 3.0: The serrated edges offer multiple contact points along the board. This technology counteracts the negative effect of the rocker which reduces the edge/snow contact length of your board.
Progressive Sidecut: At each end of the edges, the curve radius is increased at the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.

FSC™ Power Core: Triple density premium wood core: ash and paulownia wood with bamboo stringers for increased pop and longevity.
FSC Ash Veneer: Ash that significantly reduces vibration and distributes flex elements.
- Topsheet: Triax Fiberglass: fiberglass layer applied in multiple directions for a board that is precise and responsive on any terrain and any snow.
- Sole:
Sintered 9900 base: base made from UHMW-PE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and carbon. Very easy to repair and offers ultimate gliding properties.
Flip-Flop base: manufacturing process reducing waste related to the base. Two colours available, delivered randomly.

- Ultra Construction: Jones Ultra Construction takes the original version of the board and makes improvements with materials and construction to optimise each part of the board. Ultra boards are lighter and stronger.
Oversized Recycled Edges: edges made of recycled steel.
Recycled Black ABS: ABS plastic in Jones boards is made from recycled plastic.
Wend Natural Wax: ready to use as soon as they leave the factory, Jones snowboards are already coated with Wend Natural Wax.
Super Sap Bio Resin: all Jones boards are now on built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes. Producing Super Sap requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional epoxy.
Freeride Freestyle pack: Allows you to centre the stance or ride in setback depending on the conditions.
Un shape freestyle et une âme freeride font de cette board un instrument de glisse aussi joueur qu’efficace, sur tous les terrains et toutes les conditions de neige. On retrouve les mêmes caractéristiques que ses grandes sœurs : renforts carbone sous les pieds pour plus de dynamisme et de tenue en torsion et Traction Tech 3.0 pour l'accroche.
