The The Equalizer By Jess Kimura is a snowboard from Capita, designed for experienced riders looking for a versatile, high performance board that will allow them to charge like crazy on the entire resort.
Inspired by Jess Kimura, a pro-rider who has gone from street to backcountry, the The Equalizer has all the features you need to ride the slopes and enjoy freeriding.
It has a flex and a directional shape which allows it to evolve in powder and to easily initiate turns in all snow conditions. The Alpine V1 profile consists of 4 different camber shapes to make it responsive and precise both in the backcountry and on the piste. There is a standard camber underfoot, which provides grip and pop. A flat camber just after the back foot which provides great stability. Two rockers, one long in the nose and one short in the tail to effortlessly get out of the way and maintain manoeuvrability in fresh snow. And finally, two WAH-POW! spatulas to feel like the queen of the world in the backcountry.
In addition to this, the The Equalizer is built with an ultra-light and versatile core, reinforced with different materials and inserts that give it a very incisive, precise behaviour, and with a huge energy restitution when it is put under tension.
In short, the The Equalizer is the ideal board for the more adventurous rider who likes to take the lead and ride the best spots.

Camber:
Alpine V1 Profile : combination of standard, flat and reverse camber. Positive camber between presses for grip and support. Flat camber outside of the presses for stability on the nose. Reverse camber (rocker) for tolerance and easier turning. This new camber provides the pop and responsiveness of a standard camber board, with the handling and tolerance of a flat or reverse camber board.
WAH-POW! tips : A break in the tips that provides a stronger recovery than a rocker, for increased lift and manoeuvrability in powder.
Shape:
Directional: shape with the bindings a little further back towards the tail and a slightly longer nose for better flotation in deep snow.

La The Equalizer est une véritable planche de freeride qui fait plaisir à rider. Som cambre très complet permet au nose de flotter au dessus de la peuf, tandis que le tail plus court permet de conserver une excellente maniabilité.
Sur la piste, The Equalizer est très loin d'être à la ramasse. La prise de carres est précise et puissante, et la planche reste très stable en permanence.
