The Rumble Fish is an all-mountain snowboard from Salomon Snowboard. With its adaptability, it will be ideal for experienced riders who want to do a little bit of everything, and do it well!
The Rumble Fish is made for versatile riders who want to be able to let loose on the mountain. It is able to get you down the slopes at rocket speed, blast you through the powder and catapult you into the snowpark, all in one day!
With all of its capabilities, the Rumble Fish has to be highly technical to deliver on its promises. The paulownia core with bamboo and carbon reinforcements ensures a powerful and dynamic pop, as well as flawless stability. Boasting a wide range of freestyle possibilities with a Rock Out Camber profile, and a lighter weight thanks to the paulowniawood core, the Rumble Fish is an agile and manoeuvrable snowboard. The slightly raised Freestyle Edge Bevel edges provide an impressive edge grip and very good performance on the slopes.
With its Twin Directional shape and its double rocker, the Rumble Fish guarantees excellent control and responsiveness. It easily flies through fresh snow and offers good support in turns and jumps.
An added bonus of the Rumble Fish, is its eco-friendly construction. The use of carefully selected natural wood like bamboo means that the board's fibreglass content is cut by 40%. The edges are also constructed to be environmentally friendly.
A perfect blend between the best characteristics of freestyle and freeride boards, the Rumble Fish is a Swiss Army knife of a snowboard!

Camber:
- Rock Out Camber (Camber+Rocker): Flat profile between the bindings for stability, camber underfoot for responsiveness and a rocker at both ends to optimise pressability. The Rock Out Camber is designed for high-level performance in the snowpark thanks to its blend of flat profiles, cambers and rockers for comfort underfoot and very responsive turn initiation.
Shape:
- Twin Directional: A Twin shape for freestyle moves with a directional flex for power at high-speed. The bindings are set back slightly from the centre to improve lift and manoeuvrability in powder.
- Quadralizer: The explosive combination of Equalizer and Quadratic means you can carve at great speed and it gives you exceptional edge control during narrow passages.
- Freestyle EB: The angle of the edges is softened at the ends, with a 2-degree bevel on the key parts of the sidecut, which then drops to a 3-degree bevel between the feet. This gives flawless stability and flexibility on the slopes.
Core:
- Popster Booster: A carbon reinforcement also improves energy transfer: the energy released under your feet is propelled towards the extremities for maximum spring.
- Ghost Green Core: The Ghost Green Core components have been selected and designed to optimise pop and reduce weight, all while benefitting from using the durable properties of ultra-light paulownia wood.
- Flex : 8/10, stiff flex.
Technology:
- ABC Wrapper: More pop, less plastic! The ABC Wrapper patented process involving bamboo rods is used to reduce fibreglass and resin content in each board by 40%.
- High quality stone finish: Our fine stone finish is particularly efficient on our Sintered EG base; it helps to increase speed in powder or softer snow conditions.
- Sintered EG: For a fast glide and a perfect wax retention, whatever the conditions. Gallium increases impact resistance, while the Electra finish optimises speed.
- Freestyle EB: The angle of the edges is softened at the ends, with a 2-degree bevel on the key parts of the sidecut, which then drops to a 3-degree bevel between the feet. This gives flawless edge hold and increased flexibility on the slopes.
- Bi-axial medium density fibreglass: The medium density fibre layers manufactured in Europe guarantee consistency in terms of quality for light and dynamic boards.
- Royal Cork Rails: Protect the planet and your edges with this eco-friendly version of Royal Rubber Rails. All the impact and shock absorption you need, all while protecting Mother Nature at the same time.
La Rumble Fish est une planche all-mountain très joueuse et très performante. Elle possède un incroyable pop qui la rend extrêmement agréable a rider en tout terrain et permet d'enchaîner quelques tricks. Un vrai plaisir, pour cette planche qui combine le meilleur des planches freestyle et freeride Salomon. Son rocker prononcé lui permet de déjauger sans problème et se faire plaisir en poudreuse lorsque les conditions le permettent. Le flex rigide permet de conserver une board très stable dans toutes les conditions et amène une précision et une réactivité de très haut niveau.
Les Plus : Joueuse, agile, très bon comportement en poudreuse.
