New to the 2022/2023 catalogue from Burton, the Mystery is a men's freeride board for intermediate to advanced riders.
Equipped with a directional profile and a huge rocker in the front, the Mystery has been designed to fly through the powder with ease. Its directional Flex is also there to help you keep maximum control of your board in all snow conditions.
With its Dragonfly II 500Gcore, the Mystery is both light and rigid for maximum strength and power. They will allow you to explore the most technical routes with confidence.
Its Methlon sole, the most sintered sole offered by Burton, will carry you up to breath taking speeds. As for the Mystery Glasscoating, it is entirely made of carbon, this saves on weight and stiffness, which is essential for technical descents requiring optimal board control.
So if you're looking for the perfect freeride board, there's no need to look further with the the Mystery Snowboard.
Flex: Directional : A more dynamic tail and a more flexible nose which allows the rider to maintain control on all terrains and in all conditions.

Camber:
Directional camber : The directional camber profile has camber under both feet for optimal stability in deep turns and variable conditions, and a Rocker nose which provides height and better float.
Shape:
Directional (20mm tapered): The directional shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed for a ride with a nose that is slightly longer than the tail in order to concentrate pop in the tail, while offering a lot of float, fluidity and control on all terrains and in all conditions.

FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 500G Core with Multizone™ EGD™ and Squeezebox : The DragonFly II 500G is the lightest core that Burton has to offer. It integrates laminated carbon into the core, to ensure exceptional dynamism and performance, all while drastically saving raw materials. The EGD Multizone uses end-grain woods in the impact zones for lighter weight without loss of strength.
Fiberglass - Mystery Glass™ : The Mystery Glass fibreglass construction is a complex carbon layer that facilitates flex management while revolutionizing the strength-to-weight ratio.
Base - Methlon : The ultra-durable Methlon base requires little maintenance and offers breath taking speed that will last all season long.
The Channel®: The Channel® snowboard mounting system is designed to allow you to find the perfect position, and is compatible with major brands' bindings.
Frostbite Edges : edges that extend out slightly around the mountings for better edge grip.
Pro-Tip™: the nose and tail are thinner than the rest of the board, for more lightness and improved handling.
Infinite Ride™: this technology ensures that the snowboard retains its initial flex, bounce and behaviour throughout its lifespan.
Epoxy Super Sap® : The Super Sap® is a resin made from biological materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxies. Reduced oil consumption means a smaller carbon footprint for every snowboard, which definitely works in our favour.

En poudreuse la Mystery est tout simplement un pure bonheur, l'impression de rider dans du coton. On passe les irrégularités du terrain sans ne jamais rien sentir et on prend facilement de la vitesse en restant toujours parfaitement stable.
Sa construction rigide lui permet aussi d'être très réactive et précise, un régal dans les descentes techniques.
