The Lotus is a freestyle/all-mountain snowboard for women at a beginner to intermediate level from Salomon.
The ultra-versatile Lotus snowboard will perform as well in the snowpark as in powder. Its Aspen core is high density birch making your board resistant to shocks, especially when landing. You can perform all your tricks without worrying about hurting your feet and knees when landing!
Featuring a soft flex and a flat profile at the ends with a camber between the feet, the Lotus is a dynamic and responsive snowboard, which has a great pop while maintaining its stability.
Thanks to its twin directional shape, it is easy to handle and to negotiate turns on all types of snow. The feet are positioned slightly to the rear of the board to facilitate entry into turns and control of the trajectory.
The bite-free edges allow for a smoother glide, a lighter grip, and therefore, a catch free ride. It's ideal for trying out new tricks while gaining confidence! The playful and progressive Lotus snowboard is the perfect board for beginner to intermediate riders who want to progress quickly.

Camber:
- Flat Out Camber (Camber+Rocker): Flat profile with a slight camber between the feet for maximum stability and responsiveness when you need it.
Shape:
- Twin Directional: A Twin shape for freestyle moves with a directional flex for power at high-speed. The binding stance is set slightly back from the centre to make turning easier.
- Radial: The Radial profile is the classic sidecut which provides optimum responsiveness in both regular and switch mode.
Core:
- Aspen: The poplar covers the entire length and the high density birch strips allow the insert to be well held in place.
Technology:
- Extruded: Long-lasting glide combined with easy maintenance.
- Natural wax: A paraffin-free wax made from natural ingredients. A non-polluting formula that meets the highest of standards in terms of glide speed.
- Standard stone finish : This is the industry standard for high-end boards, the only difference is that at Salomon, it's their ‘basic’ finish.
- Bite free edges: A factory finish with a softened edge angle at the ends for a smoother glide and less grip on the side cuts.
- ABS: The molecular structure can be described as a concrete bar. It possesses the stiffness necessary for energy transfer, and the dampening properties to absorb impact efficiently.
