The Freecarver 6000s 2024 from Jones is an all-mountain/freeride snowboard for experienced men and women.

With its medium/stiff flex (7/10), a full camber profile and a directional shape, this board combines racing, boardercross and freeride in one highly versatile model.

The razor-sharp Freecarver 6000s cuts through the slopes at Mach2, offering impressive edge hold in all types of snow. The wavyTraction tech 3.0 edges have a lot to do with it, and really make a difference in very hard snow or on steep slopes. Its short radius (6m) is the perfect combination for exceptional carving performance and ultra-tight turns for maximum thrills.

The 3D Base contour 2.0 makes the lack of rocker barely noticeable in fresh snow, because the nose and tail are shaped like a spoon which provides great floatation. The ash veneer topsheet combined with biax fibreglass effectively absorbs vibrations for greater comfort and precision on long days of riding. The triple-density wood core includes bamboo stringers for added pop and durability and paulownia for lightness.

The Freecarver 6000s is designed for carving on all types of terrain, so it's the perfect choice if you like thrilling turns.

Camber:

True CamberClassic camber with long edges and two short symmetrical rockers. It features a very short, flat zone between the rocker and camber. Its edge is very long, with limited contact due to its slightly bevelled shape.

Shape:

Directional: The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts have been set back on the back of the board. These features provide more lift in powder.

Blunt Nose : the blunt nose provides the lift benefits of a longer nose without the rounded shape and extra weight.

Traction Tech 3.0: The corrugated edges offer multiple contact points along the board which improves grip. This technology offsets the reduced length of the edge/snow contact points due to rocker.

Quickdraw Pro 320 Probe: Convex shape of the sole. The edges are raised by 2mm in comparison to the centre of the board.

Progressive Sidecut: The radius at the ends of the sidecut is slightly increased as the edge reaches the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.

Technologies:

- FSC™ Power Core: Triple density wood core: ash and paulownia wood with bamboo stringers for increased pop and a longer lifespan.

- FSC Ash Veneerash veneer reduces vibration and distributes flex evenly.

Biax Fiberglass: Fibreglass layer applied in two directions for a precise board that responds to any terrain or snow conditions.

- Sintered 9900 base: made from UHMW-PE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) and carbon. Extremely easy to repair, it also offers maximum glide properties.

- Oversized Recycled Edges: edges made from recycled steel.

- Recycled Black ABS: the ABS plastics in Jones boards are made from recycled plastic.

- Wend Natural Wax: ready to use as soon as they leave the factory, Jones snowboards are already waxed with Wend Natural Wax.

- Bio Resin: All Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy.

Forever Flex: A manufacturing process that durably stabilizes the flex and rocker profile of the board.

La Freecarver 6000s cache bien son jeu, sous ses airs de planche abordable, elle nécessite un minimum de technique pour être domptée.

Son cambre classique, ses carres ondulées et son rayon court permettent de prendre plaisir à carver en enchaînant les virages serrés, et cela sur tout type de neige !
