Flagship 2024
An emblematic freeride snowboard by Jones, the Flagship is designed for experienced riders. For this winter season, it has a new shape and new side cuts.
The Flagship has been given many different awards and is the culmination of more than 20 years of improvement and refinement by pro-rider Jeremy Jones, for a near-perfect board.
The Flagship , which has become an essential board, is the very foundation of the Jones spirit: rigid, incisive, demanding with excellent stability. This board can take on any snow conditions: choppy, packed and, most of all, deep powder! The Flagship will fly down any slope with ease and confidence. Its rigid flex, camber between the footbeds, Traction Tech 3.0 edges and basalt stingers make the Flagship a freeride powerhouse.
Nothing has been left to chance with the Flagship. Inspired by hydrodynamics, Jones have gone for a 3D Contour Base 3.0 similar to surfboard designs. The curved shape of the base at the nose and tail lift the edges so you can avoid catching it on snow and smoothly enter into turns.

Camber:
Directional Rocker : Classic camber with rocker for greater float and grip in all snow conditions. Longer and more pronounced rocker on the front of the board to increase lift with a camber under the feet for grip and responsiveness. The shorter tail rocker not only provides the same power and stability than other boards, but prevents catch when turning.
Shape :
Directional : The nose is longer and wider than the tail and the inserts have been set back on the back of the board. These features provide more lift in powder.
Tapered Shape12.5 mm : The cone-shaped Tail sinks into the powder for better flotation and faster turns.
Blunt Nose: The blunt nose provides the lift benefits of a longer nose without the rounded shape and extra weight.
Traction Tech 3.0 : The bumps on the edges offer multiple contact points along the board which improves grip. This technology counteracts the negative effect of the rocker which reduces the edge/snow contact length of your board.
Progressive Sidecut: At each end of the edges, the curve radius is increased at the contact points. This larger radius ensures a smoother ride when entering and exiting turns.
Technology :
- Forever Flex: A manufacturing process (early lapping system) that stabilises the flex and rocker profile of a board for its entire life span.
- Power-Core: Triple density premium wood core: ash and paulownia wood with bamboo stringers for increased pop and longevity.
- Sustainable Flax/Basalt Stringers : 100% natural basalt stringers. Each support becomes more powerful and the torsional stiffness of the board is improved.
- Engineered wood Veneer: New wood composite topsheet made from sustainable wood. It softens the ride and absorbs the vibration of the board
- Triax Fiberglass: Fiberglass laminate applied in multiple directions, which provides a precise and responsive ride on all terrains and in all snow conditions.
- Sintered 9900 base: Sole made of UHMW-PE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene ) and carbon. Very easy to repair and offers ultimate gliding properties.
- Flip-Flop base: Manufacturing process reducing waste related of the base. Two colours available, delivered randomly.
- Float pack inserts: It allows you to change your stance for powder days.
- Recycled ABS: - The ABS plastics in Jones boards are made from recycled plastic.
- Wend Natural Wax: Waxed with natural Wend wax, Jones boards are ready to use straight from the factory.
- Bio Resin : Super Sap Bio Resin: all Jones boards are now built with bio-based, renewable epoxy instead of petroleum based epoxy.
Accroche sécurisante grâce au Traction Tech 3.0, son rocker Directionel et son nose Blunt lui procurent une très grande stabilité et capacité à déjauger rapidement. Les renforts basalte sous les pieds rendent la board très puissante et stable même à très grande vitesse. La Flagship est l'arme ultime que tout bon freerider recherche.
Avec ce snowboard au bout des boots ne cherchez pas à faire de concession, cette planche à un gros caractère Freeride : rapide et puissante qui lui permet d'engager à grande vitesse et de garder une très grande stabilité. De grosses sensations dès les premiers virages, la planche offre une très grande sensation de stabilité. Un sentiment de sécurité à grande vitesse et sur n'importe quelle neige, vous allez vous demander comment vous avez fait pour vous en passer. Mais attention, cette planche est faite pour les amoureux de grandes courbes et de peuf fraiche qui ont l'expérience pour l'emmener !
