The Defenders Of Awesome, or DOA, from Capita is a men's all-mountain board for intermediate to advanced level snowboarders.
A best-seller from Capita, the DOA is the most versatile board from the range. A true all-mountain board, the Defenders Of Awesome offers all the features needed to face any situation. With the DOA, Capita you can reach perfection! This attention to detail is reflected in the number of festival awards won (7 at Good Wood).
This year's central innovation is the arrival of a new core: the P2 Superlight Core, for an even lighter and more impact resistant board.
In terms of freestyle, the Defenders Of Awesome is completely at ease with its carbon-amplified playful pop. The flex 5.5, the tolerant twist and the 15 centimetres of flat camber outside the inserts make the DOA a predictable and stable landing board. An excellent board.
In terms of off-piste, Defenders Of Awesome is ready for takeoff with its 2 rockers (reverse camber) and Wah-Pow! tips. The Defenders Of Awesome is able to ride in the powder and hold its own in the more difficult terrain.
On the slopes, the DOA is a reliable board with good grip thanks to its positive camber and carbon reinforcements which increase turn stability. The Defenders Of Awesome is an all-mountain board that unlocks a host of various snowboard practices for its riders!

Camber:
Resort V1 Profile : combination of standard, flat and reverse camber. Positive camber between presses for grip and support. Flat camber outside of the presses for stability on the nose. Reverse camber (rocker) for tolerance and easier turning. This new camber provides the pop and responsiveness of a standard camber board, with the handling and tolerance of a flat or reverse camber board.
Shape:
Blended radial/ True Twin : Symmetrical board in terms of dimensions and flex. Ideal for freestyle riding and jibbing. A Blended Radial sidecut offers a different turn radius between the centre of the board and the contact zones, suitable for certain aspects of riding.

- P2 Superlight Core : Poplar wood core and palauwnia stringers. Quality core with uniform flex, predictable behaviour and lighter weight than recent models. Blend of power and manoeuvrability.
- Fortress Kevlar bound sidewalls: Kevlar reinforcements placed along the edges.
- Carbon Fiber boost : Two carbon strips are placed all along the core between the inserts and the edges. Power and responsivity are boosted to the max!

Topsheet:
- Special blend Fiberglass & Magic Bean Resin: Tolerant bi-axial fibreglass. The Magic Bean Resin is made from 60% recycled materials and beans!

La Defenders Of Awesome est une arme de choix pour les riders polyvalents qui aiment tout ce qu'il y a de meilleur dans le snowboard. La Defenders Of Awesome est capable de trancher les kickers et d'offrir des réceptions tolérantes sans nous envoyer dans le décor sur les réceptions moins propres.
L'accroche est saine et convient parfaitement pour la prise de vitesse sur tous types de neige. Sur la piste, la DOA est volontaire et engagée et ne nous fait aucune mauvaise surprise.
La DOA est autant accessible techniquement que financièrement. Très très bon rapport qualité/prix.
Les Plus : polyvalence, valeur sûre et durabilité de la planche.
Les Moins : comportement en poudreuse!
