The Backland 107 are touring skis from Atomic.
With their contoured shape and their high quality materials, the Backland 107 are ideal for demanding freeskiers who don't want to neglect feeling or style. Featuring a 107mm waist, they are the biggest skis of the brand.
The Backland 107 incorporates the revolutionary HRZN built into the tip, which increases the skis surface area at the front for a better lift and confident, fast progression in deep snow. Their Powder rocker, designed especially for powder snow, incorporates a stronger rocker on the tip and a lighter one on the heel, for more and more pleasure in the powder snow!
The Backland 107 is designed with an Ultra Light Woodcore, made with Keruba for strength and poplar for lightness, which provides optimal stability and agility for speeding downhill.
There is also an ultra-light Carbon Backbone structure that crosses the entire ski and acts as a backbone. This stabilises it, for exceptional agility and very good edge grip, all without any additional weight to allow for easier uphill movement.
The Full Sidewall structure allows the skis to remain smooth and stable on all terrains, even the hardest ones. This construction provides better control and edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dual Cap Sidewall prevents dents and splinters forming for optimum durability.
The Backland 107 achieves the feat of combining the powder performance of a freeride ski with the lightness of a touring ski. Tailored for wide open spaces and abundant powder, these are the perfect skis for experienced skiers looking for efficient and high performance touring skis!

Carbon Backbone: An ultra-light carbon insert that acts as a stabiliser along the entire length of the ski. It provides exceptional agility and grip without weighing down the skis.
Dura Cap Sidewall: Solid edge construction under the bindings, from the sole to the lining, for good power transmission control and exceptional grip.
HRZN Tech Tip: The HRZN Tech increases the surface of the tip of the skis by 10%. For phenomenal lift in powder, reduced tip deviation and better behaviour in trampled snow.
Fiberglass: The full-length fiberglass layers allow the ski to be smooth and stable while remaining light and dynamic.
